PowerZone (Confirmation) for 6th through 8th Grades
Confirmation is a core value in Lutheran churches. The mission is to teach our young adults, grades 6-8, the basics of the Christian faith from a Lutheran perspective. The youth in this age group also participate in a variety of activities for fun, fellowship, and service. Retreats are offered during each school year to provide intensive opportunities for spiritual growth, group building, and service to our community. We teach our young people to serve those in need and work for social justice. A summer outdoor recreation trip is planned each year to help our young people appreciate and experience up close God’s amazing creation.
Transformers for High Schoolers
Growing in faith and serving Christ by serving others is at the heart of Hope’s high school youth program. Our mission is to walk alongside youth in their faith journey, challenging them to a greater maturity in their walk with Christ. This is accomplished by weekly Bible study and many activities and outings. Adventures may include whitewater rafting, waterparks, sporting events, and mentoring younger youth. Our high school youth also go on a week-long summer adventure filled with service and fellowship…sometimes in our backyard…sometimes across the country. Join us and find out what we’re up to! We meet Sunday evenings from 5-7pm on Hope’s campus unless otherwise noted.
Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
