Women of the ELCA
This ministry coordinates the activities and programs that empower women to act boldly in their faith. Hope’s Women of the ELCA (WELCA) offers many ways for women to be involved. There are daytime “circle” Bible studies using “Gather” the Lutheran women’s magazine study. Some of the events supported by the Women’s Ministry include the Fall Boutique, Ladies’ Candlelight Communion Service, women’s half-day retreats and a number of service projects that include making prayers shawls, providing gifts for foster teens and supporting many outreach ministries.

Women likewise must be serious, not slanderers, but temperate, faithful in all things.
